Sexual tension at its finest.

Bachata is the ‘Blues music and dance of the Dominican Republic’. The basic step (step, step, step, tap/hip pop pattern) of Bachata allows dancers to emphasize pelvic movement, and the ability to press and swivel their bodies to express the tiniest rhythm or melody together. Today, elements of Salsa, Tango and Kizomba can easily be seen in Bachata dancing, heating up its sensual appeal.

If you wish to learn Bachata, you can easily find videos online to try it out at home. Finding dance instructors is not that difficult either. Many Salsa dance instructors also teach Bachata. To dance Bachata socially, seek out the Salsa dance events in your area because you will often find Bachata music there as well.
